In parallel with the founding of the Ruinart champagne company, France started to develop a way of life that was characterized by great culture and prized elegance, refinement, delicacy, and good taste. The freshly introduced champagnes from Ruinart, which were popular particularly among the upper class, fit well in with this trend of high culture. In order to create their products in the finest way possible, Ruinart was continually on the lookout for the most advanced knowledge. Although Dom Pérignon, Möet & Chandon, and Veuve Clicquot are more well-known than Ruinart, this is not necessarily a bad thing. The "Blanc de Blancs" from Ruinart perfectly encapsulates all the champagne house stands for, including the utilization of premium ingredients and meticulous production techniques.
