This Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut from Chouilly is a stunning expression of Chardonnay purity and precision. Vazart-Coquart is a family-run grower in Chouilly, known for their deep commitment to terroir, meticulous vineyard work and elegant vinification.

The “Grand Bouquet” cuvée is made exclusively from Chardonnay harvested in 2018 from their best Grand Cru plots, and only a limited number of bottles are produced each year. The champagne is vinified with full malolactic fermentation, giving it a creamy, smooth texture that contrasts beautifully with its low dosage (3.5 g/l).

Expect aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, ripe pear and a chalky minerality. On the palate it is vibrant and linear, with notes of lemon curd, fresh almonds and a long saline finish. A champagne for purists, but with charm and depth. Aged over 3 years on the lees before disgorgement in October 2021, it shows both freshness and finesse.

Perfect as an aperitif or paired with oysters, ceviche or delicate fish dishes. This is a champagne that will evolve beautifully in the glass.
